Hi Grade 5 Families!

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m very thankful to be part of such a loving and supportive community! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with family and friends!

Our featured image this week is our friends Cross Country, who participated in the Garry Point Fun Run last Friday! Despite being the last to race, they were great sports and all demonstrated what it means to do your best and never give up! We’re very proud of our Cross Country Runners!

Friday:

  • Assembly @ 9 am led by Grades 4 & 1
  • Miss G Away at Volleyball Tournament with Grade 7 Girls
  • PE with Mr. Kelly

 

Homework:

  1. Reading: Continue to read for 30 minutes each day!
  2. Google Classroom: Please continue to check there for Classroom Updates
  3. Art: Bring an art smock/shirt on Wednesday, October 10thWe will be continuing to work our Self-Portraits.

Friendly Reminders: 

  1. Walkathon Money: Walkathon pledges & money are due on Wednesday, October 10th. 
  2. Clothing Donation: Clothing donations for the Developmental Disabilities Association will accepted this week starting Tuesday, October 9th until October 16th. I have attached the flyer below for more information.

  2. October 19th – Parent Volleyball Night @ 6 – 10 pm

  4. October 25th – School Mass lead by Grade 5 @ 11 am

  6. October 29th – Hot Lunch Serving
