Grade 5

Week of October 11th

Hi Grade Five Families,

I hope you enjoyed our shorter-than-usual week !I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving long weekend! We still managed to fit so much into just four days of school!

One of the most exciting parts of the week was getting to meet our grade five D.A.R.E Officer, Constable Tammy Walker. She will be visiting the grade five student’s every Wednesday for an hour to teach them all about the D.A.R.E program!

On Thursday the grade fives also led their first school mass of the year. They all did an amazing job with their buddies and an extra thank you to those who read too! We also got to meet with Mr and Mrs Guno on Thursday as they showed the school Justice’s memorial bench. We were so grateful for them coming to the school and talking to us about Justice.

A quick reminder to please sign up for a Parent-Teacher conference spot for next Thursday or Friday. Here are some things to look forward to next week:

  • Nova Hot Lunch for those who ordered it.
  • French and P.E.

  • P.E.

  • Earthquake drill 10am
  • Assembly

  • Grade 7 Mass
  • Music
  • Noon dismissal
  • Parent – Teacher Conferences begin at 1pm

  • No Classes (Parent – Teacher Conferences)

Have a great weekend Grade Five Families!
