Grade 5

Week of November 30th – December 4th

Hi Grade 5 Families,

It’s har to believe it’s December this week! Happy 1st Week of Advent and official countdown to Jesus’ Birth! I hope you are well doing well with the business of the work, school and general state of the world. I appreciate and thank all of you for your continued support this school year! This week, we look forward to continuing to prepare for our Christmas “concert” and a Zoom Call with Grade 5s from St. Paul School in Hamilton, Ontario.

Our featured image this week is from our Science experiment! We had discussed the importance of our natural resource, water, and gained insights and reflected on our own water usage. We explored the affects of an oil spill in the ocean. The children were to try out different methods of removal of oil in a cup filled with water. They had a lot of fun and got very creative with their removal methods!
