Grade 5

Week of November 1st

Hi Grade Five Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful, if not a little rainy first week of November ! It’s hard to believe we have been back at school for almost 2 months now! The students were so excited to share their  Halloween Weekend stories with me on Monday and we wrote some Haunted House paragraphs to fit the theme! We were in charge of decorating the bulletin board downstairs for the month of November and the students did a beautiful job!

We have a short week coming up next week (Week of November 8th) as Remembrance Day is on Thursday and we have a Pro-D on Friday.

Reminder that today the interim reports are sent home via google classroom (no hard copy).     A reminder that there will be no proficiency indicators on the interim, but it will give you guidance to look at specific assignments on Google Classroom to get a snapshot of your child’s learning so far in grade five!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

Here is what’s happening next week in our school:

Monday

Nova Hot lunch

P.E. and French

Tuesday

P.E.

Grade 5 Confession

Wednesday

Remembrance Day Assembly

Thursday

Friday

Have a great weekend!

Best,

Ms. Carroll
