Grade 5

Week of May 24th – 28th

Hi Grade 5 Families,

Happy Victoria Day Long Weekend! I hope you were able to enjoy the nice weather and go for your Walkathon! Last week, we were able to attend Mass with Father Smith and we also got a visit from our seminarian, Solomon. This week, we look forward to a short week, with Hot Lunch and Jeans Day this Friday.

Our featured image is the table the children have to fill in for Literature Circles Conferences. The children are learning to have independent discussion about a book they’re reading; using questioning, predicting, thinking, analyzing,  connecting skills and more! They’ve all had an opportunity to meet once and we look forward to reading a book and finding joy in discovering it together!
