Grade 5

Week of March 2nd – 6th

Hi Grade 5 Families!

Can you believe it’s already March! Last week, we had Pink Shirt Day! It’s a day to participate in the anti-bullying movement and a good reminder to continue to do God’s will and be kind to one another! As well, we began the Lenten Season with our Ash Wednesday Mass, getting purple bands to help remind us to keep our Lenten promises. This week, we look forward to continuing to attend Daily Masses and a performance from the St. Patrick’s Secondary School Choir!

This week’s featured image is from our visit from former student, Jacob Imoo. Jacob came to present, to all the students, about his passion project he had done for school. It became a personal project and he documented his journey to becoming a national bowling champion! Jacob talked to us about working hard and staying firm in his faith; to be his best and reaching his goals! He also showed us the documentary he created! It was a wonderful opportunity to hear from him!
