Hi Grade 5 Families,
February just flew by and suddenly it’s March! Last week we finally went on a Nature Walk and used our observation skills to look for ‘found items’. We participated in the First Peoples Principles of Learning; experiential learning and focusing on sense of place. This week, we look forward to continuing a regular routine, continuing to read our class novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, having a D.A.R.E Zoom call and Hot Lunch this Friday!
Our featured image is from Pink Shirt Day. Students came to school in a pink shirt to show their support for the Anti-Bullying movement. We talked about kindness and what we could do to be kinder to one another!
