Grade 5

Week of January 31st

Hi Grade Five Families!

I always think January is the slowest month and February seems to just fly by, and that really seems to be the case! Looking back on January, the grade fives did an amazing job adapting to the changes that came into place as they returned to school.

I am so proud of how well the students did on their first day up at Grouse Mountain last week! Their patience and eagerness to learn really made me proud to be their teacher! Unfortunately today’s trip was postponed due to poor weather conditions, but that just means another opportunity to ski later in the season!

Reminder that report cards go home today. Please read through the information with your child and ask them to show you what we have been working on in school whether it is on Google classroom or in our binders.

Looking ahead to next week, here is what’s happening in Grade Five:

Nova Hot Lunch

P.E. and French

Grade 5 and 6 to Grouse Mountain

(departing at 7.30am sharp)

Mass (Gr2)

French and Music

Library and P.E.

Have a wonderful weekend!
