Grade 5

Week of February 28th

Hi Grade Five Families,

This week marks the beginning of March, and the beginning of Lent. The grade five students took time this week to choose something that they want to give up, as well as something they want to take up during this time. The class also went to Confession on Tuesday and were excited to start their Lenten journeys with clean slates! Mite Boxes are also being sent home today.

A reminder that  Daily Lenten Mass has begun at 8.15 every morning before school. We ask that students come and sit together at the front of the church when attending these masses. Thank you to the grade five students that helped those in younger grades to find a place to sit this morning.

Tomorrow is our last day at Grouse mountain. A big thank you to Mr.Kelly and all of the parents who have helped to make this experience so memorable for the grade five students. They are all incredibly proud of themselves for developing the skill of skiing.

Here is what’s happening in Grade Five next week. One only more week until Spring Break!
