Grade 5

Week of February 24th – 28th

Hi Grade 5 Families!

We had a fairly normal week, with the exception of Superhero Day! Dressed to the likeness of a favourite superhero, we did so in effort to support our School Sponsor Child, Thomas! This week, we look forward to raising awareness for anti-bullying with Pink Shirt Day and the start of the Lenten season on Ash Wednesday

This week’s featured image is from a recent math lesson! The children have been building on their estimation skills by learning and practicing various strategies. These skills help with real-life skills like general money use, grocery shopping and planning events!
