Grade 5

Week of April 4th

Hi Grade Five Families,

I want to begin by saying thank you all so much for your incredibly generous and thoughtful engagement present. I am so looking forward to using both gift cards! Thank you all so so much!

This week in grade five, the students have done a wonderful job leading the morning masses each day. Thank you to all my readers and to the grade five student’s who came to the masses.

The student’s are so looking forward to being able to welcome parents back to our bi-weekly assemblies. The next assembly lead by the grade 5’s and their grade 2 buddies will be on May 11th.

We have been learning about measurements in math class this week. The blog photo shows the students measuring the width of the parking lot using (lots of) measuring tape!!

Reminder that there is no school on Friday of next week and the following Monday as we celebrate the Easter Season. I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend! Class picture day has been moved to April 19th. Please ensure your child has their full uniform (including sweater) for that day.

Here is what’s happening in Grade Five next week.
