Hi Grade 5 Families,

I hope you’ve had a wonderful Easter Weekend so far! As a class, we have focused on reflection and almsgiving this past Lenten Season. In continuation with our Lenten promises, we will be partaking in Almsgiving Activities in the coming weeks! This week, we look forward to a Dress Down Day and our Student-Led Conferences!

Monday:

  • Easter Monday – No School

Tuesday:

  • Music with Mr. Yang
  • No PE – DPA with Miss Guevara 😀

Wednesday:

  • PE with Mr. Kelly
  • Early Dismissal @ 2 pm

Thursday:

  • Spring Colours Dress Down Day for Chalice
  • French with Madame Caprilli
  • Music with Mr. Yang
  • No PE – DPA with Miss Guevara 😀

Friday:

  • Student Led Conferences – No Classes

Homework:

  1. Reading: Continue to read for at least 30 minutes each day!

Friendly Reminders: 

  1. Hot Lunch: In continuing our efforts to be more sustainable, we are challenging those who ordered Hot Lunch to bring their own spoon or fork to use!
  2. Dress Down Day: In support of the Catholic charity, Chalice, we will have a Spring Colours – dress down day on Thursday, April 25th. Please bring a donation if you come dressed down.

  10. May 22nd – 24th – Scholastic Book Fair (until 10:30 am on 24th)
  11. May 24th – Assembly led by Grade 5 & 2
  12. May 27th – Hot Lunch Serving
