Dear Grade Four Families,
The students have had a busy week of learning in the grade four classroom. Now that the FSAs are complete, we are resuming back to exploring the topics we were working on previously as well as new ones!
On Tuesday, each student researched a Saint for All Saints’ Day and on Wednesday, the Grade 6 and 3 classes led us in a beautiful prayer service for All Souls’ Day.
Please check your emails for the Interim Report Letter which will give you instructions on how to access your child’s learning on Google Classroom. Remember to check Google Classroom often for feedback on your child’s assignments and learning journey. I am so proud to see how far all of them have already come with their learning in Grade 4.
To further support your child at home, here are some topics we are currently working on that can always use extra practice:
- Addition and subtraction problems with a missing number.
- Writing word problems with a missing number for the reader to solve for.
- Restating the question in sentences.
- Using correct punctuation and grammar when writing.
