Grade 4

November 28 – December 2

Dear Grade Four Families,

Happy First Sunday of Advent! Today we light the first candle on our Advent wreaths to mark the beginning of the Advent season and the beginning of our Liturgical Year! It is a busy 19 days before Christmas break, but it is important we remember to patiently prepare for the birth of Christ. The Grade 4 and 2 classes will lead us in our first week of Advent assembly on Wednesday, please join us in the Gym at 1:15pm.

During the Advent season, it is important to give back to those in need. As part of the school’s charity project for Blanket BC, each Grade 4 student is responsible for bringing in a new pair of adult mittens or gloves. Donations will be collected between Dec. 5th and Dec. 9th. Please see Ms. Moorehead’s email with further details about this important cause. Thank you in advance for your support and donations.

We have moved onto a new unit in the Open Parachute program titled “Communication and perspective taking.” Last week’s lesson was on expressing our true feelings. Please ensure you are following along with the accompanying lessons at home.
