Grade 3

October 4th ~ 8th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

We had a wonderful Walkathon on Friday! It was great to see the Grade 3 students excellent behaviour and positive attitude during the walk. Each student walked approximately 14 600 steps! I will be posting pictures and a video on our ClassDojo Story^^*

On Wednesday it was touching to see all the students dressed in orange as a reminder of what happened in the residential schools. We had a classroom discussion on how we can work together to heal the past and create a better future. We will be continuing our Every Child Matters activity this week.

The Ministry of Education announced on Friday that all students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 will be expected to wear masks at school while indoors. This will come into effect on Monday of this week.

Please make sure that your child is wearing a mask when they exit the car in the morning. Also, please put one or two extra masks into their backpack in case their mask gets soiled and needs to be changed during the day. Thank you!

Rain is expected on Monday and Tuesday, so please make sure that your child has their boots and rain jacket for outside play. Thank you!
