Grade 3

May 3rd ~ 7th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

I can hardly believe that we’ve already started the month of May! May is the month of Mary, and in Grade 3 we will be celebrating the Blessed Virgin Mary throughout this month^^*

Last week we started to do multiplication: on Monday your child will be bringing a multiplication chart home. They should know up to 5 X 5 by the end of the school year. I would suggest that they learn up to 5 X 12 to give them a head start for next year. We will be practicing in the classroom, and the more practice they have in class and at home, the easier it will become for them to do^^*

The Grade 3 students have been diligent in their daily RED. Please make sure they continue as it starts to warm up outside^^* The more they read, and write about what they read, the better it will be for them when they walk up those stairs into intermediate!

*Next week on May 11th, they will be having their final Grade 3 DIBELs assessment.
