Grade 3

May 23rd~27th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

We had a wonderful Professional Development Day where we learned several strategies to manage all the stress that we’ve been through these past few years. It was wonderful to be able to reflect on everything we’ve been through, and to spend some quality time amongst coworkers 😊💙!

In math the Grade 3 students have been learning about multiplication, division, and polygons in geometry. This past week our focus was on division: the majority of the students now have a good understanding of the placement of the numbers in a division sentence (total amount divided by number of groups, equals how many in each group).

Here is this week’s schedule:

Monday ~ May 23rd

  • Victoria Day: no school

Tuesday ~ May 24th

  • Music
  • French

Wednesday ~ May 25th

  • Gr. 7 Fundraiser Order Forms due today
  • PE
  • 1 p.m. Assembly: Gr. 7/K
  • Dismissal is at 2 p.m.
  • Uniform Swap Meet (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)

Thursday ~ May 26th

  • White Spot Hot Lunch: please make sure that your child brings their own utensils
  • Mass: Grade 4 (you are welcome to join us) ~ The students are expected to wear full uniform including their sweater
  • French

Friday ~ May 20th

  • PE
