Hello Grade 3 Families!
I missed out on the outdoor Fun Day activities, so I was really looking forward to spending the last two days of school with your children…and excited to see that the water balloon fun was still to be had^^*! It would have been a great way to cool off, but unfortunately, the intense heat will be keeping your children at home tomorrow. I’m hoping that it will cool down enough to be able to have the students come to school on Tuesday. If so, the water balloons will be ready^^*
Having said that, I loved being your child’s Grade 3 teacher this year. It was an exceptional year in so many ways, and I am so proud of how far they’ve come. They have all experienced so much growth each in their own way, and they are all much more autonomous and self-sufficient… Plus I believe that they’ve fully understood that it’s okay to make a mistake. There’s always a plan B ^^*! A mistake can also be a stepping stone if you learn something from it that helps you in your learning.
I so do hope that we will have another morning together in the Grade 3 classroom before they leave for the summer. If they do come on Tuesday, please have them bring a bag with sturdy handles to place their school items inside. Since they have not completed their Communicating Skills workbook, it will give them something to do on rainy days during the summer. If they complete it, they’ll be even better prepared for Grade 4^^*
I would like to thank Mrs. Lee for everything she’s done to help me out with the various activities and special events the Grade 3 students have had throughout the school year. It has been a real joy having her as our homeroom parent. She has helped make this year a memorable one for all of the students^^*
