Grade 3

January 31st ~ February 4th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! I would like to wish you a Happy Chinese New Year of the Water Tiger!

We had a wonderful  week listening to each team’s oral presentations on their science BC animal research poster projects! They will have the occasion to do several more presentations in Grade 3 before the end of the school year to continue perfecting their oral presentation skills.

In the month of February, Grade 3 students are responsible for the display board near the covered area.  Our theme for this year is the definition of love! The students have already made their Wassily Kandinsky inspired hearts. Today they will be writing what love is for them on their artwork. The Display should be up by Wednesday.

If you have any palms at home from the last Palm Sunday, please send them to school with your child this week. We will make sure that the palms are delivered to the Parish Office to be burned for the ashes that will be used on Ash Wednesday.
