Grade 3

January 24th ~ 28th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

This week will be a very special week where we will be celebrating the Feast Day of the Conversion of St. Paul. On Tuesday the Grade 3 students will be doing an activity on the conversion of St. Paul, From Saul to Paul. Our school mass that will be held on January 27th will be to celebrate the school’s patron saint. You are welcome to join us at 9 a.m. in the church.

It should be a wonderful week of celebration!

The students were really busy last week working on their Science Poster Project. They should be completing them at the beginning of this week, and will start to practice their oral presentation with their partner. They will have one period to practice, then will start doing their oral presentations in front of their peers.

The Grade 3 students will be assessed on making eye contact with their audience, raising the tone of their voice to be clearly heard, varying the intonation of their voice to convey meaning, and the creative aspect of their presentation (poster, body gestures etc.). The excitement in the air is already palpable!
