Hi Grade Two Families,
It was so wonderful to see the class together again! They were buzzing with excitement to talk about their winter breaks and how they celebrated over the holidays. These conversations about celebrations continued as the students reflected on how they wanted to start the New Year and wrote about everything they wanted to achieve in 2024!
We start the First Communion program this coming week! It is a joyous time as the children get to know Jesus a lot more and develop their relationship with Him in preparation for this beautiful sacrament. You can find out more about the program in the letter that was sent home yesterday, and at our mandatory first parent meeting on Wednesday, January 17 at 6:45 pm in the school gym. Please make sure you sign in with me before the meeting starts. We will end off the week by attending Mass together on Saturday, January 20 at 5:00 pm in the church. All details and more will be communicated at the meeting on Wednesday. See you then!
