Grade 3

December 7th ~ 11th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

I would like to thank you for making sure that your child was well prepared for our Christmas song video last Monday. They were excited to change into their clothes as soon as they arrived at school! I know they all did their best, and it will be an exciting moment when we are able to share the final performance with you^^*

This week is the second week of Advent, and we will be lighting the candle on the Advent wreath which symbolizes peace. As Grade 3 students prepare for the coming of Jesus, we remember that Jesus is our hope and our peace.

From the prophet Isaiah 9:6-7

“For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

This week, we are continuing to collect money for “Hampers of Hope” to support our parish community that will be needing assistance during this Christmas season. Please see the email from the school office for more details. Thank you in advance for your donations^^*

The students and myself will be adding posts to their Classdojo portfolio in preparation for the Interim reports. In most instances, there will be no comments. The comments will be in their report at the end of this term. Thank you!
