Grade 2

Week of Nov. 4-8

Hi Grade Two Families,

We had quite the exciting week celebrating Halloween and All Saints’ Day! We wrote some spooky stories and played some ghostly guessing games (check it out on Class Dojo) for Halloween. Throughout the week, we talked about what is a saint, lives of some saints,  and what we can do in our daily lives to be saints. We will continue to talk about different saints, along with the talking about All Souls’ Day this week.

Thank you very much for all your hard work to donate to the Walkathon! We raised a total of $76,059.55! That is an incredible amount to help the school with all it’s seismic upgrades!  Because of your hard work, the Grade 2 class won a pizza party!! Congratulations!! The details of the pizza party will be announced soon.

If you were able to collect empty toilet paper or paper towel rolls, please start to bring them in to school. Thank you!

Have a blessed week ahead!
