Grade 2

Week of Feb. 17 – 21

Dear Grade Two Families,

We wrapped up our short week with a visit from Unstoppable Tracy! She was an inspiration to all of us to never give up and keep trying even when things get difficult. She told us about her many accomplishments and the kids had many questions for her! They were particularly interested in Tracy’s daily life and all the sports she participates in. Tracy is an excellent witness for all of us in perseverance and determination.

Congratulations! We have completed the first half of the First Communion program! We are four Masses and four meetings down! Your children have been praying, thinking and participating excellently as they prepare their hearts for Jesus. I truly appreciate the dedication and support you have given your child throughout this first part of the program. Please make sure all of the pages in the Gold Book for the themes of Belonging, Celebrating, Listening and Caring are completed. Once they are finished, please bring the book back to school. We will resume the program after Easter.

On a personal note, I would like to thank all the parents and families who have extended their condolences to myself and my family during this time. I truly appreciate the thoughts and prayers.
