Grade 2

Week of Dec. 7-11

Dear Grade Two Families,

We are now in the second week of Advent. Today’s Advent calendar activity is to go to Mass. This week we think about peace and preparation.  We continue to prepare our hearts for Jesus’ coming both at Christmas time and in his second coming, as St, John the Baptist did in today’s Gospel. We also take this week to remember that Jesus is the Prince of Peace and that we can find peace in Him and through Him.

A highlight for us this week was filming for the Christmas concert! The students all looked so angelic in their costumes and did an excellent job with their performance. We can’t wait to share it with you!

We ended the week with the excitement that Miss Wu is going to be their teacher at the end of February! They were so thrilled and so am I! Miss Wu is an amazing teacher and I can’t wait to hear all about their adventures with Miss Wu!

Here are the reminders for the week:
