Grade 2

Week of Dec. 2-6

Hi Grade Two Families,

There were feelings of nervousness and excitement leading up to the hip-hop performance on Friday as they wrote about in their Friday letters. But after the performance, there was a sense of pride in all of them for doing their best. I loved hearing all of them giggle during the middle of “What Does the Fox Say?” as they pranced from left to right. I hope you enjoyed watching them as much as they had a blast sharing it with all of you!

This week starts the season of Advent! It is the start of a new liturgical year, and a joyous one indeed! During Advent we are asked to prepare the way for the Lord for His coming at Christmas, and for His second coming. We prepare at home and at school, but most importantly we prepare our hearts. Under the Class Info page, you will find information on the class routines that we do to participate fully in the season of Advent.

Have a blessed Advent season!
