Grade 2

September 27th- October 1st

Good afternoon Grade 2 Families!

We had a fantastic week this week learning about forces and got to use magnets. We had our Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday and I would like to say a big thank you for the wonderful donations we received.  Today was our Walkathon! Thankfully the weather cleared up and we had a terrific day! I’m sure there are some tired legs this afternoon!

As you may have heard masks are now mandatory from Kindergarten to Grade 3 starting Monday October 4th.

Next week;

  • Monday: P.E/ Star of the Week
  • Tuesday: P.E/ French
  • Wednesday: French
  • Thursday: Mass (school sweater please) / Music
  • Friday: Garry Point, more details to follow.

Homework next week will be sentences and Math worksheet on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night. Spelling test on Friday. I will also be giving the login information for the RAZ kids.

I would just like to say a big thank you to our volunteers this morning, myself and Ms. Crawshaw really appreciate you giving up your time!

If you have any questions I am available by email until 5pm Monday to Friday at amaye@stpaulschool.ca

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Warm regards,

Ms. Maye
