Grade 2

October 12th-15th

Good afternoon Grade 2 families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend last week. Our Star of the Week this week was Joseph and he brought in some great things to show the children. In Math this week the children were learning about tens and units and enjoyed lots of fun activities. We had some fun with our Grade 5 buddies too. Today they had a free art lesson with the theme of Halloween and the results were amazing! We certainly have  very artistic children in the class!

I am looking forward to meeting you all next week for the parent-teacher conferences.

Here’s what’s coming up next week;

Monday: P.E

Tuesday: P.E and French

Wednesday: French

Thursday: Mass and school closure at 12pm to facilitate parent-teacher conferences.

Friday: No students, parent-teacher conferences.

Homework: Math sheet, RAZ kids and 2 sentences for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.

I

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and that the weather clears up a little!
