Hi Grade Two Families,
The class spent last week remembering all of the brave men and women who have fought for peace. We wrote a journal entry about what we would think of during our minute of silence and created artwork to honour all those who serve our country. To end the week, our Remembrance Day assembly reminded us how blessed we are to live in Canada. Then, Grade Two was very fortunate to have Mr. Zhang (Josh’s dad!), an army reservist, come in to tell us all about military life. After his presentation, the children were left with meaningful and insightful things to think about! Thank you Mr. Zhang and all the men and women of Canada who have served in times of war. Lest we forget. 🇨🇦
