Hello Grade Two Families,
This week, our First Communion theme of ‘celebrating’ was very fitting as Grade Two had many things to celebrate! First, we celebrated the Lunar New Year by creating artwork for the Year of the Rabbit! The children also prepared to celebrate St. Paul’s Feast Day by learning about his life, and reflecting on what they can to do be like him and bring God’s message to others. Then on Wednesday, we got to celebrate Mass together and watch the St. Pat’s chamber choir perform before gathering as a school to eat lunch together in the gym. It was a joy watching the students connect what they were learning about in their Gold Books with what was happening at school! The celebrations will continue next week as our class will help lead the school in celebrating Candlemas at the assembly on Wednesday. Please join us!
