Grade 1

Week of May 31 to June 4

Hello Grade One Families!

Today we celebrate the wonderful feast of Trinity Sunday. We pray that we will be surrounded by the love of the Trinity and share this love with others by witnessing to the strength of the Father, the compassion of the Son, and the guidance of the Spirit.

As you know, Justice Guno from our Grade Seven class passed away last week. The students had been praying for him and for his family every day and will continue to do so. We had many discussions that led to other activities to help the students to express their thoughts and feelings about about Justice’s time at Children’s Hospital and his death. I have also encouraged the children to share their feelings with you at home as well. Their ideas about heaven are so beautiful and the depth of their faith – an inspiration.

Thank-you for your support of the Grade Seven fundraiser and Jean’s Day! The students are very excited to see the Grade Seven video in June.

Please note the following reminders for this week:
