Grade 1

Week of March 28 – April 1, 2022

Hello Grade One Families!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Spring Break and the opportunity to spend time with family and friends making fun memories! I am looking forward to seeing the students tomorrow and hearing all of their Spring Break stories.

Here we are already at the beginning of the third term of Grade One! I realized a few days ago that this is my twentieth year of teaching Grade One and feel truly blessed to be spending it with such a special group of children and families.

As Mrs. Moorehead mentioned in the emails that she sent this morning (Sunday March 27), there are new protocols for mask wearing at school effective as of March 28. Please read her emails carefully and follow the directions that apply to your family. Also, kindly remember to do the health check every day and keep your child at home if they are ill.

Lent morning Mass will continue tomorrow morning. Thank-you to all of the students and families who have been joining us for the 8:15am Mass. We are looking forward to seeing many students at morning Mass as we continue our Lenten journey together!
