Grade 1

Week of June 3 – 7

Hello Grade One Families!

I hope that you all had a super weekend!

Last week the students had so much fun learning about the Ozobots and their colour coding language. The students from UBC Engineering were very impressed with how enthusiastic the students were to share their knowledge and ideas.

The students who read at the Assembly on Friday did such a great job! I would like to thank them for their hard work in preparing and thank all of the Grade One students for their participation in our Assemblies this year.

This week we will be covering  Concepts A, B and C in the “I’m a Gift From God” program. Just a reminder from my previous e-mail to please return the workbooks the next day (even if the work is incomplete) and please do not work ahead. Thank-you!
