Grade 1

Week of June 20 – 24, 2022

Hello Grade One Families!

Oh my goodness…here we are at the last full week of Grade One!! The students keep telling me ideas of what they would still like to do in Grade One and I am going to try to squish as much as I can into this week. We will focus on having a joyful last few days in the classroom before the excitement of Fun Day on Friday.

A big thank-you to all of the Grade One students for doing such a fabulous job of presenting the prayer for Mrs. Jew’s retirement Assembly on Wednesday. Please be sure to check out ClassDojo for some photos of what else we have been up to lately in Grade One.

Every day from Monday – Thursday the students will be bringing home something from the classroom such as their notebooks and other activity folders etc. Please be sure to empty your child’s backpack every day so that they have room for what they need to bring home the next day.

This week we will finish the “I’m a Gift From God” program. Please be sure to complete page 12 this weekend and return the workbook to school on Monday.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Fun Day on Friday or our class “dress-up” theme after reading the email that I sent you this past week.
