Grade 1

Week of January 27 – 31

Hello Grade One Families!

It was wonderful that so many of you were able to join us for our St. Paul Feast Day Celebration today. Thank-you for your support of this community event! The Grade One students did such a great job of sitting without their buddies at Mass and they were so proud to show everyone that they could do it!!

This week we will begin the sharing presentations. Please make sure that your child has both their notebook (with the completed sentences) and their sharing item at school on their designated day. Just a reminder that sharing is a weekly event which means that your child shares every week on their designated day.

This Friday we will have a non-uniform day. Students are invited to dress in Star Wars themed clothing. They can wear a Star Wars costume, a Star Wars shirt with casual pants, or plain black, white, beige and brown clothing. We are raising funds for the Redemptoris Mater Seminary. For more information on this Seminary, please check out the “Redemptoris Mater Seminary of Vancouver – Our Daily Life” video on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uDZbC0abtk). We are asking each student to please bring in a $2 donation in support of the Seminary. Thank-you!
