Grade 1

Week of April 25 – 29, 2022

Hello Grade One Families!
It was so wonderful to see you all at Student-Led Conferences last Friday! I could see how much the children enjoyed having time with you in the classroom and how proud they were to share some of their accomplishments and school life with you. It is hard to believe that there are only just over two months left until the end of the school year.

As I am sure you now know from the email that Mrs. Moorehead sent on Friday afternoon, I will be leaving Grade One at the end of this school year and moving upstairs to teach Grade 5. Over my 27 years at St. Paul School, 20 of them have been spent teaching Grade One. Every class is special in their own unique way and I feel especially blessed to have the pleasure of working with your children as my last Grade One class (for now…because you never know… God’s plan my bring me back to Grade One someday!).

Please note the following for this week:

Monday

  • PE class ~ PE strip is needed
  • Nova Foods hot lunch for those who ordered ~ please remember to send cutlery

Tuesday

  • please pray for Mr. Kirkham, Mr. Kelly, and all of the Grade 7 students and staff who will be leaving for their Outdoor Education trip today

Wednesday

  • PE class ~ we will most likely be doing outdoor activities so the students do not need their PE strip

Thursday

  • 9:00am Mass ~ please join us!

Friday

  • PE class ~ we will most likely be doing outdoor activities so the students do not need their PE strip
