Hello Grade One Families!
The end of the school year has come! As much as we all look forward to the change in routine that the summer holidays bring, I will miss the students as they head out the door for vacation and then into Grade 2 in September. They have inspired me in so many ways this year: their resilience, faith, curiosity, patience, kindness and growth mindset are just a few that I can name. Every day brought joy, laughter, and learning about how to be a friend. I can’t wait to see how they grow as they progress through St. Paul School! It has been an honour and privilege to be entrusted with your children this year. May God bless them all abundantly!
I would like to thank Joanne Cheung for being the homeroom parent this year and helping me to plan the parties. Her help has been a great blessing to me and to the children as well!
Finally, I would like to thank all of you for your support during this unique school year. Your flexibility, understanding and prayers are invaluable!
Monday June 28: Please follow the guidelines sent out by Mrs. Moorehead in her email late this afternoon. Also, please check your email periodically this evening and tomorrow morning in case there are any further updates.
Tuesday June 29: Last day of school! Students may wear play clothes and will bring home their CSL documents (report cards) as well as a few other things that they still have at school. Please remember to send a snack. Dismissal is at 11:45am and 12:00pm depending on whether your child is in the first or second group.
Please email me if your child is not attending school on Monday due to the extreme heat warning or if you have any other questions regarding the end of the school year.
Wishing you all a fun, relaxing and safe summer!
Mrs. Kelly 🙂
