New Parent Information Evening & School Registration Sept. 2012

On February 21st, 2012 at 6:45pm, we will be hosting our New Parent Evening in the St. Paul Parish Gym. If you have a son or daughter who was born in the year 2007, he or she is eligible to apply for Kindergarten in September.  Please come and hear about our exceptional school, ask questions and meet our education committee as well as the kindergarten teachers. Registration packages we will provided to interested applicants on that night.

If you have a child already in the school, and their sibling is applying for September 2012, we would like to know at the office as soon as possible. Please e-mail Mrs. Nielsen at office@stpaulschool.ca or send a note with your child.  We would appreciate the information by January 23rd, 2012 if possible.  Thank you again for your continued support!

Re-registration packages for children currently in the school will be given out to the children the week of February 20th, 2012. More information to follow!

Hot Lunch Order Forms for February and March

Feast of St. Paul

As you notice from our school calendar and from the parish bulletin, St. Paul’s Parish is planning a special celebration for our Feast Day 2012!  We invite you to come celebrate with us on January 25th. School Mass at 11:00 AM, family luncheon to follow. Please see the attachment for complete details.
 

Badminton Lessons

Registration for Badminton 2012 starts at 7am on January 11. Only 24 slots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to read emailed registration instructions carefully before going online to register. Signed consent form and payment will be collected during Coach’s assessment on February 1, 2012. Deadline to register is January 18, 2012. Please see the attachments for complete details. The second attachment is a consent form that can be printed, filled in, and given to Grace Cruz.

Vancouver College Open House

Merry Christmas!

Well done students! Another fine performance of exceptional singing during the Christmas concert. The musicians were wonderful as well! A special thanks to our choir directors Mr. Kelly, Mrs. Melvin, Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Jew and our newest addition to musical leadership, Miss Fletcher!

School will begin again on January 3rd, 2012.

Appreciation Lunch Follow-Up

On Tuesday the Grade Seven Class and their parents hosted an appreciation lunch for the school and parish staff.  At the beginning of the lunch three students shared the following on behalf of the entire grade 7 class:

Your assistance and quiet work have helped our school community thrive and grow.  Even if we don’t realize it, your work has added t a very important cause.  We wish you all the best for the years to come.

The grade seven class wants to give you staff a tremendous thank you for everything that you guys have done for us and taught us all these years and we just want to appreciate everything. We hope that God blesses you and keeps you safe.  Love the Grade Seven Class

The Imagine Project - Dinner & Dance Auction Fundraiser

January 14, 2012 there will be a fundraiser for the renovation of the old Sacred Heart Elementary School. It is being transformed into the Sacred Spirit Centre. Tickets are $80 (includes wine).
