Grade 4's blog

Happy New Year!

 Hello Parents,

Thank you once again for your very generous gift! I am unworthy of your kindness.

The grade fours are back to work! A reminder that January IRP will be due at the end of the month. Also, FSAs are scheduled for the middle of February. Please notify the office if your child will be away (that is, if you have not already). I will post more information as the date approaches.

Thank you,

Mrs. E.

HOME READING PROGRAM

 Hello Parents!

Grade 4 is starting their Home Reading Program on Monday, September 26. The children are asked to read a minimum of 15 minutes each night to improve their reading fluency. It would also be helpful if they could discuss what they have read by making predictions, connections, or asking questions. This will help them to develop their reading comprehension skills. Please initial every entry nightly. I will collect the Home Reading sheets every Friday.

Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns.

Yours In Christ,

Mrs. Espinosa

Meet the Teacher Night

Hello Parents,

Meet the Teacher will begin at 6:45 on September 13. I have attached the handouts that will be distributed in the grade four classroom for that night.

See you tomorrow!

Mrs. Espinosa

Welcome to a new school year!

 Hello Grade Four Families!

Welcome back to another school year. I hope you are all rested and ready for Grade Four! I've sent home the timetable, supplies, and a welcome note today. The children were asked to check and label their supplies. P.E will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday but will not start until this Friday. There will also be Daily Physical Activity on Monday and Thursday; however, students only need to have their gym shoes on these days.

Any important grade 4 information throughout the year will be posted on this blog. I do ask that parents sign their child's agenda every night. If you need to contact me, you can write a note in your child's agenda or email me at gr4@stpaulschool.ca. In the event of an emergency, please contact the school.

A heartfelt thank you for the beautiful plant presented to me this morning! I will try my best to keep it alive (it doesn't have a hard drive I could program, does it?).

I look forward to working with your children and watching them grow into successful and joyful servants of the Lord!

Yours In Christ,

Mrs. Espinosa
